The Anchored ability lets you play characters that stay in your expedition even when night falls. As these characters normally stay for at least 2-turns, boosting them with Teija’s ability or with your spells is almost always a good strategy. An even better strategy is giving your boosted plants another Anchor to let them stay on the field even longer.

So nurture your plants, maximize their growth and your wins will be like a walk in the park.

Tips how to play

General playstyle of the deck is: boost characters that are anchored and anchor characters that are boosted.

Teija’s ability lets you boost the first character you play. This is very effective for early game plays with Spindle Harvester or Sneezer Shroom.

Try to spread out your boosts. By boosting only one character it will become an easy target for opponent’s removal spells.

Anchor doesn’t save your character from being discarded by an opponent’s spell.

Use Beauty Sleep against an opponent’s high cost character or character that is blocking you from winning an expedition.

Even if you’re not winning in the current turn, boosting your anchored characters will still have great value. As they stay on the board during night. So you start with a boosted character on your next turn.
