Kojo takes No-Unique Championship Week 2

AJT’s Ricky Locky teamed up with Kojo in an undefeated 6-0 run to first place for the No-Unique Championship March 19 on Board Game Arena. Daggeron (Sigismar) picked up second with another 6-0 record, and Iorindil (Kojo) let only one loss go by for third.

The event covered six rounds of Swiss play in a no-unique format that allows for a 39-card deck with up to 15 rares, the rest being filled with commons. The event was streamed with commentary by Fre3loder and Runefolk.

According to 39cards.com, Kojo was the most popular hero with 14 decklists, followed by Teija at 13 and Fen at eight. Subhash, Waru, Arjun and at Atsadi weren’t represented. A total of 27% of cards played came from TBF, with 73% from BTG.

Ricky Locky led the pack of Kojos with a decklist that leans into ramp with some new tricks from TBF. It carries full playsets of rare Tiny Jinn and rare Mighty Jinn, plus a set of rare Haven. Three Axiom Salvagers make use of the Haven, and three Ordis Spies provide interruption while making a stat-boosting combo with two common Arcolano Milks.
