Multiple World Championship Qualifiers coming quickly

More than 10 World Championship Qualifiers are still on the way over the next few weeks, with chances worldwide to take the top spot in your region or online. The next three weekends each see at least two Qualifiers, all leading up to the Finals in Paris, France, Oct. 17-19.

The remaining Qualifiers include the following:

The path to the Finals has already picked up multiple players, including Popeye, who won with Sigismar at Zoetermeer, The Netherlands; Pompote, who teamed up with Treyst in Lille, France; and Rinku working with Kojo in Dallas, Texas. Giacomozuu worked with another Bravos hero, Basira, to pick up the win in the first online Qualifier held on Board Game Arena earlier in August with 1,142 players. Future winners will join these and others to make up the 32 total players vying for the Championship title in October.

Aside from the exclusive prizing, qualifiers will have travel and accommodation paid to Paris for the event at Le White. The Finals will include the Last Chance Qualifiers, plus the Group Stage leading up to the Grand Final across the three-day event.

Players are able to join in any competition, regardless of their nationality, and may play in more than one.

Alongside the Qualifiers, hundreds of local game stores worldwide are currently participating in the Whispers from the Maze Tumult Championships, running from Aug. 15-Sept. 14. Those competitions can be found using the Altered website’s Event Locator, and there’s still time for LGS owners to request a Tumult Kit through their distribution partner.

You forgot to include here the Southeast Asia + Korea Online Qualifiers, which should take place sometime in September, after all participating SEA countries and South Korea finish their Nationals.
