Seeds of Unity confirmed through Gamefound update
Seeds of Unity, the next set for Altered, is confirmed and will be coming in early February 2026, according to a new Gamefound update. Though the retail preorders and Gamefound pledges didn’t quite fulfill the 2.5 million euros (about $2.9 million) projected in an earlier article, the team is streamlining operational expenses to cover the remaining need.
The specific retail preorder total or the difference between the 2.5 million euros and collected pledges/preorders were not shared.
Campaign next steps
One day remains for individual backers to place and confirm their pledges, ending Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. Paris time (UTC+1). Past that point, new pledges will not be able to be started and existing ones cannot be modified. That day, backer payments will be processed by Gamefound, with either the full amount or first payments made.
The Gamefound Pledge Manager will open during the first week of December, which collects backers’ shipping details. If a backer purchased the unique or faction unique pack add-ons, this is the point where outreach will happen to confirm the connected Altered account if necessary, with the digital cards delivered afterward.
Orders will be processed in January and delivery to backers, including local game shops, will happen in early February, according to the campaign project details.
Meeting commitments
The Equinox team is doing a deep analysis to optimize operational expenses to streamline processes to cover the remaining funds left between the Gamefound total and retail preorders. While the move guarantees that SEEDS will be completed and distributed, Equinox hasn’t reached “the financial stability Altered needs for its future sets,” according to the post.
The community effort and faith has had a real, tangible impact on the entire team, according to the team. “We’re glad to announce that the adventure continues, and we are proud to have you alongside us.”
Since the release of the last stretch goals (which included the unique add-ons and increases in the available collector boosters per order), the Gamefound total has increased, reaching more than 745,000 euros (about $863,000) by Nov. 12.
