Seeds of Unity card reveal: Make way for this cloud surfer

In the upcoming Seeds of Unity set, the Bravos are exploring the wonders in the skies. Some are fishing for a bite, others are diving to explore. A few daring athletes (like Isabel Letham) are taking to riding the skies in search of the next big thrill.

It’s a big sky out there, but some aren’t content to share the space with others. The card I’m sharing today is the Bravos Cloudhog.

The Bravos Cloudhog has no time to play nice. A 2/4 cost with a 2/2/3 statline is nothing to scoff at, and that’s before you even get to the card’s ability. One of the improvements over the common version is a spike in Ocean, always a welcome sight in Bravos and the first time this specific line has been seen at 2 mana for Bravos (though The Snowman and Bravos Tracer can offer similar coverage).

Like many Bravos, playing off reserve makes the Cloudhog even more dangerous. For 4 mana, the Cloudhog carries sabotage and at least one boost. If the player manages to target another character specifically, that brings his statline up to a solid 4/4/5. Factions that are more spell-heavy will need to try to find ways to protect the few characters in their reserves to keep the Cloudhog from doing huge damage and showing up at his strongest.

The Bravos Cloudhog moves to Axiom for its out-of-faction, linking up once again with the Foundry and giving the faction a rare sabotage option that also carries solid stats.

He’s also another new Bravos card that’s made even more dangerous by the OOF Foundry archetype, offering sabotage and a 4/4/5 for 2 mana in the right conditions. Even if a Foundry isn’t available, the Deep-Cloud Instructor, Kedarm or Market Encounter will provide that option at the cost of a discard for a support quick action.

On top of all of this, the card’s art (by Zael) is incredible, showing off the reckless momentum that makes the Cloudhog the sky-high hazard that he is.

Keep watching the Blog for more reveals, and check out our spoilers page for our collection of the set’s cards. As always, a guy trying’s tracker not only includes the cards, but also the schedule for upcoming reveals from content creators.
