Bravos Starter Deck

Altered is all about racing, getting your companion and hero tokens together as fast as possible. If you like to speed and win in a quickly manner, then the Bravos starter deck is for you.

The Bravos starter deck uses Kojo & Booda to take advantage as the first player. Starting with a 2/2/2 Booda token in your companion expedition from the get-go will accelerate in winning one or both expeditions at once from the first day. At the even days when you’re going second, you can catch your breath so you can sprint again on the next day to sprint with your Booda out. Or alternatively, you’re keeping the pressure up high to win in the fastest way possible!

Bravos’ characters are normally very cost efficient in at least one region type. Move quickly with your fast fleeted creatures and seasoned warriors or train them to be as boosted as they could be!

Tips how to play

Try to advance both expeditions on your turn with your companion Booda out. These turns tend to be more explossive.

To maximize your boost abilities, try boosting seasoned non-fleeting characters as they will keep their boosts in reserve. Also boosting Atlas or other Gigantic characters will increase your power in both expeditions.

Try winning an expedition using Intimidate for returning a character card to the owner’s hand or using Dorothy Gale to send a character to reserve (or even to discard if it is already Fleeting).

Sun Wukong (Rare) loses fleeting when played from reserve. This means you can play him over and over again as long as he doesn’t get discarded by Sabotage for example.

Sabotage discards a card in reserve. Use Sabotage cards when you are the first player, to discard your opponent’s card so that they cannot play it and get less options in their turn.

The Spindle, Muna Bastion (Faction Rare) makes hit harder for your opponent to remove your cards from the expeditions as they need to pay 2 extra mana to target your characters. This is highly effective against decks that try to target your characters a lot.

This Bravos starter deck has some cards with the support ability. To play this: discard the card from reserve to activate and boost your next played character. Perfect for a big Atlas play or seasoned characters.
