Welcome to News from the Discord!

In this new category we will be keeping you up to date on important and interesting statements from Equinox in the official Altered TCG Discord in the past week. The updates will be grouped by day and topic as far as possible. For all Discord links to work you need to have access to the appropriate channels.

Please note: This format will not cover answers / statements for topics that were later published in a news article (i.e. they are outdated), unless the statement contained important additional information or clarifications for news that were published.

Adventure Pass

Ouranos:”From now on, we will run a points resynchronization batch every week. It should take place on Mondays between 1 and 2 pm Paris time. At the same time, we are continuing to investigate these point desynchronization issues.”

There should now be a technical solution to differing event counts for the Adventure Pass.

Organized Play

InToX: “We don’t want to close doors to extra stocks being used for some stores to host a secondary event, but first we want everyone to get a chance to find an event close to them.”

In the context of the Tumult Championship stores they see the possibility of sending a second wave of store kits if there might be extra stock after all legit stores got their chance to host an event. The details for deciding which stores those might be is solely up to the distribution units as usual.

InToX: “You’ll find no extra rules with the kit on delivery. But yes, you are pointing something we need to improve, we need more “guidelines” for all types of questions. By the way we just recruited our new OP director, joining in 2 weeks”

In the context of whether or not hosts could play in their own Tumult Championship and if there are extra OP / event rules.

InToX: “Kuraokami will be considered as a “character/token” card. Just meaning that everybody will get the Kuraokami cards, with no finite number. It’ll be untradable, ungivable (like a classic token), but you’ll be able to POD it as much as you want, and to play x3 in your deck. Even players coming to Altered in the future will have the Kuraokami available at account creation”

This means you will not miss out on the cards if you don’t participate in the event.

Support

Lokinox:”Because there are plenty of tickets about the beta, and it’s a huge backlog to go through”

At this time the support team is dealing with a huge backlog of requests from the closed beta hence players have to wait longer than usual for a reply.
