The Skybound Odyssey Season 4 promo boosters and Adventure Pass give players the chance to get some free alternate-art cards as well as an opportunity to find a unique. Both are available to players starting with the set prerelease Sept. 26 mainly through in-person play events at local game shops.

Promo boosters

Each season, promo boosters are distributed as rewards for organized play events at LGSs like standard constructed play, draft or multiplayer. For Season 4, the three-card booster pack keeps the same odds as in the previous two seasons, which are the following:

  • Foiler (Rare) – 87.5%
  • Foiler (Unique) – 12.5%
• Slot 2
  • Alt art (Common) – 85%
  • Alt art (Rare) – 15%
• Slot 3
  • Alt art (Rare) – 75%
  • Unique (SKY) – 25%

The alt art cards for SKY focus on the six leviathans introduced in the set, though they’re not quite so large in this version. Each of the cards show them in their younger, smaller days. The cards are available in common, rare and out-of-faction.

Adventure Pass

Season 4’s Adventure Pass follows the same reworked path that Season 3 did, splitting a full playset of alt-art cards across 15 levels. The new season begins Sept. 26 with prerelease, and can be activated on your player profile before heading to the first event. Players can only choose a single faction to build toward.

While in-person events at LGSs are the main focus of Adventure Pass opportunities, some online events through Board Game Arena such as AWOL also provide more accessible options.

This time around, the alt-art focuses on a new cycle of Signet spells, one for each faction. Each one is a versatile spell that leans into the faction’s mechanics to provide a range of options. The new art shows off each of those spell choices with a brand-new style. Between unlocking alt-art cards, players pick up additional foilers at increasing rarity throughout the season.

There’s still time to make progress on Whispers from the Maze’s Season 3 Adventure Pass, right up until Sept. 25 at midnight. Stores will have the week after that date to close and validate final events before moving on to Season 4. On Oct. 3, players will unlock their earned Adventure Pass rewards.
