Stretch goals bring two new add-ons, more collector boosters

Altered’s Seeds of Unity Gamefound campaign unlocked two new add-ons Nov. 11 through its final stretch goal leading into the last few days for individual backers. The add-ons both provide new ways to pick up a few more uniques to use before the new set arrives. Limits on collector boosters per order were also increased.

New add-ons, collector boosters

Backers cracked 650,000 euros (about $750,000) last night, passing the campaign’s final stretch goal before individual pledges close Nov. 14.

The two new add-ons include one of the options from the previous community poll, digital unique booster packs. The product includes:

  • 10 digital uniques from the first four sets plus a 10-euro POD credit for 30 euros (about $35)
  • 10 digital uniques from one chosen faction plus a 10-euro POD credit for 40 euros (about $46)

Each pack guarantees at least one unique from all four current sets, and the random unique pack will include at least one unique from each faction. The single-faction unique booster can be added more than once to a pledge, and can be chosen for multiple different factions.

The cards for each digital booster will be delivered to the Altered account associated with the email connected to the Gamefound pledge. If that’s a different email than what’s listed in Altered, the team will reach out via email to confirm the correct Altered account.

Because the cards will be delivered to Altered accounts once the Gamefound campaign ends, they’ll be available for players to use digitally or order through Print-on-Demand.

The final stretch goal also increased the limit for collector boosters added to individual orders. Initially, those were locked to two. Now, up to six can be added to orders in sets of two each. Orders that have already been created with collector boosters added can edit the pledge to add more.

Climbing total

Backers immediately took the opportunity to add a few more uniques to their collections and pick up more collector boosters, with almost 50,000 euros (about $58,000) added to the total within the first 10 hours. The campaign broke 715,000 euros (about $828,000) by the end of Nov. 11. The increase landed Altered in the rankings as the third most-funded project on Gamefound for the day.

No new stretch goals are planned for the campaign, which ends for individual backers Nov. 14. Retail preorders completed Nov. 10, and the final total for that group will be shared officially Nov. 12 in the evening, Paris time (UTC+1).
