Teija wins ACE Week 3

Ezelopez of the competitive Hispanic Altered Team worked with Teija to take first in ACE Season 3 Week 3 March 16 on Board Game Arena. AQZ’s Fre3loder partnered with Kojo for second and AJT’s ElWiwi teamed up with Fen for third in the 40-player event.

The online tournament runs in a single-elimination format, streamed with commentary by Cohlrabi.

According to 39cards.com, Teija and Sigismar held the lead for most played hero with eight decks each. Afanas followed with six. Waru, Arjun, Basira, Atsadi and Treyst had no representation. TBF accounted for 20% of played cards, compared to 80% BTG.

Ezelopez’s Teija deck relies on anchoring and boosting characters into powerhouses. Its rares include full playsets of Ogun with Aloe Vera and Spindle Harvesters to feed cards into play. Two rare Lyra Thespians and two Sneezer Shrooms stack boosts, with two Spindles giving additional defense. Even without any Meditation Trainings, the deck boasts multiple ways to anchor through support actions across full common Muna Caregivers, Muna Druids, Sow and Floral Tents. That’s also leaving aside the deck’s unique Lyra Thespian and Kitsune, both of which anchor a character, with the Kitsune providing that capability every dusk.
