Ezelopez15 took another first place win with Teija in the AQZ Championship Week 5 on Board Game Arena March 6. Gene7ik partnered with Fen to take second in the 105-player event. GlinkaTcg (Fen) and Mbrzua of AFTU (Afanas) claimed third and fourth place.

The event played through six rounds of Swiss, streamed with commentary by PaandyAndy and Runefolk with analysis by TheKelonGuy. The bossfight of the week, a feature of the series, brought thejoja’s Fen vs. AZQ’s FraNicoRico (Arjun).

According to 39cards.com, Teija and Fen took the majority of the top eight spaces, with two decks each. Afanas, Nevenka, Sigismar and Basira completed the other half of the block. Overall, Sigismar had the most entries at 27, with Teija picking up speed at 20 and Afanas and Fen splitting the third space at 12 each. Across all of the decklists, 81% of the cards played came from BTG, with 19% from TBF.

Ezelopez15’s Teija deck was unchanged from when it won Week 5 of AWOL a few days earlier with an undefeated 6-0 streak, building stats up over multiple rounds of play with anchors across Muna Caregivers, Druids and Sow. Floral Tents and rare Spindles provide support and defense, with uniques that also provide one extra anchor even outside the standard options.
