Ajordat’s deckbuilder platform updates, connects to Marketplace
Ajordat’s Altered TCG Builder, a deckbuilding platform that’s been a part of the community since the game’s launch, updated to its 1.18.0 release May 12. The update brings new features that integrate with the official Marketplace, as well as improve the deckbuilding process.
The updates include the following:
- Card price – A deck’s detail view now shares its current total price based on Marketplace availability, as well as each card’s individual price. Interacting with a card takes the user directly to the Marketplace. This feature excludes unique cards.
- Card recommender – The tool suggests cards for an ongoing build based on the current list. The feature is still in beta but stable enough to be released to the public.
- Deck inspirations – Copying a deck now tracks both the source and the target. This will display the inspiration source for a deck, as well as how many decks have been inspired by it.
- Power distribution – The region presence of a deck’s characters is now displayed under the card type distribution, to help share imbalances in statistics.
- Save building progress – The basic editing page now redirects back to an ongoing deck to resume progress and avoid losing changes, if a deck was in development.
It also includes improvements to card display and deck viewing, as well as bug fixes related to the Exalts Championship and importing unique cards.
The new card price function makes it easier to see the overall current cost of a deck, and integrates directly with the newly available Marketplace. Check out our FAQ on how to get the most out of the Marketplace and Print-on-Demand services.
Ajordat is looking for more reviews and testing of the card recommender tool. Players who feel as though they have a solid grasp of the current meta are encouraged to try it out and provide feedback through the button on the bottom of the recommender’s page.
The platform is open-source and fan-made, supported by the community, sharing builds of hundreds of different types of deck. It includes the capability to filter deckbuilds by hero, faction and archetype.
