Overview – Marketplace and Print on Demand

Good news: The long awaited Beta 2 of the digital services for Altered is currently underway – though intermittently – and this time Beta participants can share their experiences as the NDA has been lifted!

In this phase you can activate your wallet, sell and buy cards – even alt art cards – and order your digital cards from the print on demand (PoD) service.

Luckily some of our editorial team got picked to join the Beta so we can bring you guides on all the important topics:

The first step to using the digital services is unlocking your digital wallet in the account. This also enables the much requested two factor authentication for accounts.

After unlocking your wallet you need to top-up the wallet from your bank card which you will need to add to your account. You can (re)fill it with a fixed amount or provide a custom amount without paying any fees, but anything you add you will not be able to withdraw later.

Selling cards on the marketplace makes it easy to turn your surplus rares into earnings. The transfer is secure and instant, just don’t forget there is a 5% fee on sales!

Of course the marketplace also allows you to buy the cards your perfect deck is missing or to help you complete your collection. Search directly from your want list or pick from a great selection of Uniques using the search bar that is similar to the one in your card collection. You can sort your results in a number of ways.

Now what would be the use of that sweet Unique you just bought if you can’t bring it to the table? Find out how to order cards from the Print on Demand service – they can even be foiled if you have enabled the foil flag in your collection!

If you have more questions about the beta or are looking for more guides, let us know in the comments and we will do our best to provide more insights!
